INNODIA DETECT: family and friends autoantibody screening
Recruiting European observational screening protocol testing islet autoantibodies in children and adults aged 1–45 who have a relative or close friend diagnosed with T1D before age 45. It finds people at risk; it is not a treatment trial. Estimated enrolment 30,000.

- Presence of one or more T1D islet autoantibodies by end of 2027

No results. Recruiting; estimated n=30,000; actual start 25 June 2025; estimated primary completion December 2027. Last registry update 24 August 2026. Sites include Austria, Belgium, Czechia, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, and Poland (not yet recruiting).

INNODIA DETECT is a large relatives-and-friends autoantibody screen. A negative test ends the protocol; a confirmed positive is meant to move people into a separate INNODIA MONITOR follow-up, which is not this record.
