LUMC Phase 1b: tolerogenic dendritic cells in recent-onset T1D

Recruiting Dutch Phase 1b of autologous tolerogenic dendritic-cell therapy in adults with T1D diagnosed within five years. Target n=10. Safety and immune effect are the questions. No results posted.

Results so far

No results posted. CTIS lists the trial ongoing, recruiting in the Netherlands (decision 30 October 2024; start 2 December 2024; last update 24 March 2026). LUMC reported on 26 June 2026 that the first participant had completed the treatment phase with no adverse effects so far and will be followed for two years. That is n=1, not a posted C-peptide result.
