STRen Italian follow-up network for islet-autoantibody-positive people

Prospective Italian network designed to follow children and adults found with at least one islet autoantibody for up to ten years, tracking progression to stage-3 T1D and DKA at diagnosis. It is follow-up after screening, not itself a national screening service.

No results posted. The registry still listed NOT_YET_RECRUITING on 8 August 2026, although its estimated May 2026 start had passed. Estimated enrollment is 300 and completion is April 2036. The passed estimate is not evidence that enrollment began or that the programme is delayed.
