UBLoop-Genesis early feasibility study

Completed six-person, ten-hour feasibility study of the University of Bern's smartphone-based hybrid closed-loop algorithm and its CGM, pump, user-interface and remote-monitoring connections.

Primary endpoints

  • Percentage of the ten-hour visit functioning in closed-loop mode
  • Failure rates of the algorithm, CGM, pump, user interface and remote monitoring

Results so far

The six-person study completed on 27 June 2026. No results have been posted; completion alone is not evidence that the algorithm worked safely or well.
