The full picture
The TouchCare Nano 300U is a higher-capacity version of Medtrum's tubeless patch pump. Its main advantage is simple: 300 units in a body-worn pod, 50% more than the 200-unit capacity common in patch pumps. It can sit inside Medtrum's TouchCare ecosystem with its CGM, APGO automated-insulin-delivery algorithm, smartphone control, and remote sharing.1
Market status needs to be read literally. Medtrum says the 300U pump is already available in selected international markets, but its global announcement does not name those markets. In Germany the product has been listed in the GKV medical-aids directory and assigned a reimbursement code; Medtrum still calls commercial introduction there planned. A reimbursement listing is therefore not treated here as a German launch.1
No independent study comparing the 300U hardware with the 200U version was located. Medtrum's T1D clinical claims concern the integrated TouchCare AID and Auto Meal system, not whether the larger reservoir changes glycaemic outcomes.
